Walking away from the table
I trained for years to understand the body — where it held tension, where it wanted to move. It was good work, and I don't regret a day of it. But the profession itself never grew with me. Same room, same script, same short slots, week after week.
I wasn't tired of helping people. I was tired of how small the container had become. Leaving wasn't about chiropractic failing me — it was about realising I'd outgrown the shape of it, and needed somewhere I could actually stretch.
